Jaipur, July 8: Senior journalist Kalyan Jat, who was known for his unbiased news and fairness, died in a road accident on Wednesday. He was 52 years old.

Jat was a resident of Mandolio ki Dhani near Hathoj in Kalwad area of the district. He had been working as a journalist for over 20 years and had worked with several leading media organizations. He was known for his in-depth reporting and his ability to connect with people on a personal level.

Jat was also a recipient of several awards for his work, including the Rajasthan Patrika Award for Excellence in Journalism. He was also a member of the Indian Journalists Union.

The news of Jat's death has sent shockwaves through the journalism community. Many journalists have taken to social media to express their grief and pay tribute to his work.

Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has also expressed his condolences. In a tweet, he said, "Deeply saddened to hear about the demise of senior journalist Kalyan Jat. He was a fearless and honest journalist who always stood up for the truth. My thoughts are with his family and friends in this difficult time."

Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, the Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting, has also condoled Jat's death. He tweeted, "Saddened to hear about the demise of senior journalist Kalyan Jat. He was a prolific writer and a fearless journalist. My deepest condolences to his family and friends."

Jat is survived by his wife and two children. A funeral procession will be held on Thursday morning from his residence in Mandolio ki Dhani.
